Healthy Fall Treats

With fall approaching and the weather getting colder, we are starting to crave sweet fall treats. Here are some simple no guilt fall treats to satisfy that sweet tooth:

  • Maple pecan oatmeal (this is delicious but yet is still very healthy, oatmeal is protein packed and my adding maple and pecans it adds more flavor)

  • Banana maple yogurt parfait (Greek yogurt is always a great choice because it is packed with protein, add some chopped bananas and syrup and then you have a very healthy fall snack)

  • Roasted pumpkin seeds (These are obviously a big hit around the halloween season, keep the pumpkin seeds whenever you're making jack-o-lanterns and then roast them for a easy fall snack you can eat on the go)

  • Apple pie protein bars (Not only are these wonderful snacks delicious they are also very healthy and simple to make. They are mess free and can be taken anywhere, perfect for a workout snack or even just a simple dessert)

  • Miniature candy apples (These might not be the healthiest on the list but in small amounts they are perfectly fine. Use a melon baller to get small balls out of a normal apple then stick in a toothpick, last dip in caramel or your favorite coating sauce)

These are all very healthy but also very sweet and satisfying, they can be eaten as a snack or you could even eat them as a dessert. All these foods are alternatives to something not as healthy, hopefully these help you to stay on top of your diet throughout the fall season.
